Keio Yugekitai 2 from Victor (Japanese) Available 5/13 at $58 |
| Keio Flying Squadron was a popular shooter on the Mega Drive and the Sega Genesis. The lead character from that game returns on the Saturn in a whimsical looking platform action game. Keio is a little blonde haired girl with clip-on rabbit ears and a cocktail waitresses' dress. She has a sidekick who joins her during the course of the game; a bright eyed baby flying dragon on whose back you can ride and guide. I haven't played too many platform games on the 32-bit systems lately, partly because they are scarce but I am looking forward to this one as I always like a good platformer or a good shooter every once in a while. In the shooter department, I can recommend Don Pachi from last week. |

Tokimeki Majong Graffity (Japanese) Available 5/13 at $64 |
| Tokimeki Majong continues the majong legacy on the Saturn, our 50th (or around there) majong game on the Sega. Majong resembles the card game poker except that you play with ceramic/ivory tiles and the rules and "winning hands" are much more complicated than poker. It is a fun social game when you have friends around but when you are sitting in your game room by your lonesome, you of the male gender, is there any better way to pass the time than to play majong with a cute majong cartoon girl on your Saturn? Um, well don't answer that question. Look for Super Real Majong PVI in 1 week which is another popular anime girl majong game with a lot of animation. |

Saturn Super Magazine Volume #7 from Mook (Japanese) Available 5/13 at $20 |
| This month's Saturn Super magazine will focus on May's major releases on the Sega Saturn. This popular magazine includes a Saturn disc which contains 4-5 playable previews of the games and 14-15 FMV previews which you can look at but not play. In some volumes, special features are included such as the Virtua Fighter 2 moves demo from last issue. Its a great way to check out the games and see which ones are appealing. |
