Toshinden 2 Plus from Takara
A bit late, well okay, a week late but nevertheless, Toshinden 2 Plus is now available from
NCS...T2+ is essentially the Toshinden 2 game in its entirety and two of the boss characters
are now choosable from the Player Select screen. There is now a hit counter which keeps track
of all your hits during a match, selectable colors for your fighters and a few other little
upgrades which make this one a tiny notch above the original Toshinden 2. The only thing in
my humble opinion that will help T2+ sell is it's very low price [see below] as the update
over the original Toshinden 2 is very small and rather negligible. T2+ is a good pick up if
you have never seen Toshinden or Toshinden 2 but given the popularity of these two games,
it is highly unlikely that you have never played this one.

 

Sega Saturn

J S.W.A.T. from Banpresto
Full motion video and informative cut scenes form a large part of Japanese Special Weapon
and Tactics Team. This is another Doom style game for the Sega Saturn which looks and plays like a digitized version of say, Deadalus but with more action and enemies. The graphics do not look too impressive, they tend to look pixellized and animate rather roughly. Given a choice, I would not pick this one up due to its questionable quality and because there is more deserving software out there that should get your game buying dollars.
