NCS plans to stock a supply of Macross 1/144 scale diecast toys from manufacturer Doyusha later this month. Each valkyrie ships in a fliptop jewelry box, protected snugly by dampening felt fabric within. Although the 1/144 valkyries do not transform and morph like their bigger Yamato or Bandai brethren, the wings do retract to give some semblance of vim. Each diecast metal toy measures a miniscule approximation of 4" (10 cm) each. NCS expects pricing at US$30 once the toys are in stock. The following versions are expected in late April:
