  A few new preorders
   Konami and Koei announced a number of additional PS2 preorders for July to join the preorders posted earlier in the week. Playmore has also delayed Metal Slug 3 again from May 22 to June 19 after originally delaying it from April 24. A 2-month delay doesn't necessary spell the death knell in terms of the quality of the game and we'll reserve judgment until Slug 3 ships.

  Metal Gear Solid 2 Making DVD

   We were never able to obtain the MGS2 Making DVD a couple of years ago when Konami released Metal Gear Solid 2 for the PS2. A supplier in Japan had a small quantity available from original stock and offered them to us for a nominal fee so we decided to bring them in.
   The DVD features interviews with Hideo Kojima, Youji Shinkawa and other development staff including the voice actors. A section checks out motion-capture sequences of actors in action and the complete introduction cinema to MGS2 is thrown in to round out the disk. Sixty nine captures of the DVD may be viewed on our online shop listing for the product. NCS is pricing the DVD at US$8.
   The same supplier offered us a Vib-Ribbon t-shirt which we will import next week.
 
 

  General Updates
   PS2 Love Hina Gorgeous and Phantom of Inferno (Regular and Limited Editions for both games) are expected next week. The Major Wave re-release of Playstation Soukyugurentai is also shipping on May 22.
   Sony's new SCPH-50000 console has shipped and we now expect the units to arrive on Tuesday of next week. Restock of Aqua PS2 consoles are also due next week.
   NCS expects to stock the Japanese version of Yu-Gi-Oh Worldwide Edition with the three exclusive God cards by the middle of next week. Preorder updates were sent out yesterday to notify customers on our reservation list. Please note that we are not accepting new orders at this time but we'll post an update once the game is available for new orders again. Thank you.
   Due to the number of inquiries regarding the new shop and old shop, we'll reiterate last week's update again today. Preorders for products may still be submitted on our old shop. You may also check up on all previous orders and view your order history on the old shop since those orders were placed on the old shop. We were not able to transfer customer histories to the new shop. From the front page, NCS customers may also visit the old shop by clicking on Visit Ye Olde NCS Shop under Directives.
