Manufacturer CyberGadget helps gamers gather together
all their consoles with the Cyber System AV Selector Pro
which packs eight inputs for connecting multiple
game consoles, DVD players, VCRs, etc into one switcher.
The construction is solid with a sleek metal housing and
tactile buttons which depress with a click for switching
between AV devices. A tiny remote control is also
included which allows for far-off toggling between game
consoles.
The AV Selector supports Dolby Digital 5.1 through optical
connectors available on three of the inputs. A standard
optical cable (not included) or digital coax cable is
required. The LAN inputs may be used for connecting the
Xbox, PS2 or Dreamcast so that all three are plugged
into one handy hub in order to share a single broadband
line.

We've only fiddled around with the System AV Selector
for about 30 minutes thus far but we'll post any
additional information we figure out in the next day or
two. The video signal from the 8 inputs are passed
directly through the unit and there is no video upscan
involved. View
diagrams of the
unit. |
