MOTD Famimaga Vol. 25 (1995)

SOLDOUT
Famimaga Vol. 25 was originally released on December 15, 1995. Upon flipping open the magazine, a couple of ads pop up including one for a Sailor Moon Super S puzzle game for the SFC and Far East of Eden Zero. A 2-page ad for Dragon Quest VI shows up on page 46-47 with lots of screenshots.

A preview of the Nintendo 64 which debuted in April 1996 at Y25000 shows photos of the console and 13 games such as Blast Dozer, Mario Kart 64, Starfox 64 and Pilot Wings 64. A large feature on Mario 64 shows off scads of screenshots to whet appetites back in the day including a sequence where Mario swings Bowser by the tail. There's a lengthy scoop on Dragon Quest VI which lists the price at Y11400 and the rom size at 32M with 64K of ram for saving data. Crisp screenshots and very detailed maps are shown along with profiles of many monsters in the game.

Super Mario RPG is given a small article which includes polygon graphics of all the worlds in the game. A feature on Far East of Eden Zero displays large screenshots of the exploration interludes and the fighting scenes in the game. An interesting article on the commercial for Romancing Saga shows a number of actors reenacting scenes of the game. A piece on Bahamut Lagoon spans from page 56 to 65 which gives strategy, characters, stats and a large number of screenshots. A sequence also shows the levels of a monster as it evolves into new and exciting forms. A Tales of Phantasia spread goes from page 66 to 75 and throws out world maps and monster stats. The RPG coverage continues with a Romancing Saga article. Changing genres, a large Rockman X3 article shows gameplay tips and background data on the game.

A Question and Answer article answers readers questions for Metal Max Returns. There are great screenshots in articles for Magical Quest 3, Final Fight Tough, Ganbare Goemon, Doraemon 4, and the Sailor Moon puzzle game that was advertised at the beginning of the issue. A Virtual Boy game called Virtual Lab is shown which looks like a falling blobs puzzle game. Every copy includes a separate 28-page Shiren the Wanderer 2 play guide which gathers together game data, adventuring hints, loads of screenshots, maps, and stats of the monsters in the game.
