Scrap Heap Scramble - Neo-Geo CDZ (Broken)

The Neo-CDZ powers up and displays the standard menu but the drive is dead. We don't have our technical notes from the 90s but we recall that there was an issue linked between the power supply of the CDZ and the drive mechanism which caused problems.

Please note that the unit includes the following items:
Neo-CDZ carton in VG condition
Neo-CDZ console with opened shell casing
Like-new Neo-CD joypad
Like-new AV cables (1 video cable and 1 audio L + R cable)
Japanese instruction manual

Power button from the top of the Neo-CDZ case (Where do they go?!)
Power adapter
CD-Rom drive spindle cover
