NEWS King of Fighters 2001 Arcade Stick

   Preorders were opened overnight for a limited edition King of Fighters 2001 arcade joystick for the PS2. We recall that the joystick shown in the photo was originally designed by Nuby Tech of California and was slated to ship last year along with the USA release of KOF 2000/2001 on PS2. That didn't happen and it looks like the joystick has been repackaged for the Japanese market with a limited production run of 2001 units. Features on the joystick include turbo-fire and a macro programmable function for memorizing moves. Pricing is listed at Y6800 and we start preorders today. The manufacturer of the product is now listed as SNK Neo Geo USA Consumer Corporation. Delivery is expected on May 1, 2004 at the price of US$68 from NCS.
