PLEASE READ: The NEW SHOP is separate and distinct from the OLD SHOP. If you place an order on the OLD SHOP, you will not be able to use the NEW SHOP to check on your order and vice versa. Unfortunately, we were not able to resolve the two shop databases in order to transfer customer histories and accounts. Both shops are fully operational and capable of taking orders.

Online Pro Wrestling

PS2 Online Pro Wrestling - New Import

It was with some hesitation that we popped open a copy of OPW today. We were unsure if it would work offline but the game does allow gamers to play normal matches and enter the Create a Wrestler mode to build new superstars without connecting online. We have not gone on feega for online play yet but there appears to be tourneys already underway in Japan where wrestlers fight in tournaments and advance to new exhibitions and contests of advanced grappling skill. The polygon count of the wrestlers is a little rougher than what've we've become accustomed to in the latest Smackdowns but this may allow for smoother online play as ring warriors bout across a network.

One Piece Figures

TOY One Piece Action Figures  - New Import

Manufacturer Megahouse releases a trio of One Piece action figures which are of exceptional quality for the price. There's Nami on the far left, Luffy at center and Roronoa Zoro on the far right. Nami coyly wields a blue spear of some sort while Luffy is content with cracking knuckles. Zoro's pose indicates that he's ready to unsheath and slay in his usual casual manner. Each figure measures 20cm tall or 8" tall. A platform is included with each figure for display purposes. The weaponry and Luffy's straw hat are packaged with the figures in the packaging and may be "attached" to the figures.

Rockman Chara Wrist Band

TOY Rockman Chara Wrist Band + Battlechip  - New Import

Owners of the Netto, Enzan, or Forte PET toys (currently only available in Japan) may expand their collection of battlechips with the new Rockman Chara Wrist Band + Battlechip toy. Since each PET only includes three chips, USA collectors may expand battlechip collections exponentially starting today...
A bountiful 25 types of battlechips are possible along with six wristband colors. Each wristband is made of cushiony cotton and features a sewn-in artwork patch on the front. Fits most wrists...unless you're a gorilla.
Please note that the wristband + battlechip cartons are clearly numbered on the top of the packaging and we will be able to fill color preferences for the wristbands.

Rockman Can Badge

TOY Rockman Collection Can Badge - New Import

The Rockman Collection Can-Badge includes a trading card, a colorful badge and a piece of candy which are all wrapped up in a little plastic wrapper. Twenty three variant badges and one special edition badge are possible.
The badges are made of a thin metallic material with an attractive piece of artwork on each badge. Please note that the badges are randomly packaged and there is no way to determine which badges are in the sealed cardboard boxes.

To order a factory sealed case of 10 badges, please enter a quantity of "10" in your shopping cart. Our pricing of US$4.50 is per badge or US$45 for a factory case of 10.

Portable Contenders

NEWS Portable Gaming Choices Expand - E3

Handheld gaming technology appears to take a major leap later this year when the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP join the market. Photos of both units were revealed yesterday before the E3 festivities kick off today. Nintendo stays with the clamshell design and throws in two screens which are touch sensitive (use a stylus like a PDA) while Sony hearkens back to the design sensibilities of the Atari Lynx...Gamegear...Nomad... All of which have fallen beneath the boot of the Nintendo Gameboy juggernaut.

NCS has compiled a side by side comparison of the two units for perusal but as always, specs don't really say much about a machine if software designers don't take advantage of the core hardware and develop/design good, playable games... As always, we'll start preorders once pricing and shipping details are finalized by the two companies.

Dreamcast Magazine Vol. 30
161 pages, NM condition

MOTD Dreamcast Magazine Vol. 30 (Sept 22-29, 2000)

There's good color balance in the cover of today's MOTD which features a couple of heroines from Kanon.
Notable coverage/items in the issue
p4-7  News roundup with photos of the Capcom vs SNK controllers, a promotional Mr Driller figure, and handhelds of the day (GBA, WSC).
p23-25  A feature on the DreamEye peripheral and great photos of many official DC controller variants, VMUs and consoles. A very nifty bit of history.
p28-31  Sega arcade coverage which checks out Nascar Arcade and Planet Harriers with good amounts of screenshots. Looking over the article, we may have to pick up a Planet Harriers cabinet since it doesn't look like it'll ever get ported for the home console market. The game is not JAMMA and is based on the Hikaru board but we've seen machines go for a mere $2300 in Japan.
p32-41  Detailed Kanon article with character profiles, routes and dates for meeting girls in certain places.
p58-61  Lack of Love article which introduces the game to readers and also gives a little information and a photo of the staff of developer Lovedelic.
p91-94  DCM visits the offices of Sega developer Hitmaker and photographs the staff and checks out their past hits.
