   We're sold out of Iris no Atelier regular and limited edition as of yesterday. Lacking any ulterior sales motivation, we spare a little space to show the limited edition diorama/music box that's included in the Premium Pack. Three glossy artwork placards featuring various cast members from the game are also included in the package for fans of fine renderings.

   In the diorama/music box, the heroes of the game lounge around in a rural setting and seemingly enjoy each other's company despite the inauspicious circumstances of Klein and Rita's first meeting. Popo hovers around as if deathly afraid of missing out on any excitement or drama.

 
 

Jisen Pachisuro LE

  PS2 Jisen Pachisuro: Hokuto no Ken Limited Ed. - New Import
   Sammy's virtual Pachisuro machine features heroes and heroines licensed from the Hokuto no Ken franchise and spot animations of the characters are featured on a rectangular screen above the spinning slots. The motif, colors and marquee of the pachisuro machine may be changed into four types featuring major heroes from Hokuto no Ken.
The limited edition of Jisen Pachisuro includes the following bonus items:

1) A miniature Pachislot controller which works exclusively with the game. Feels fairly comfortable to use and three red buttons mimic a row of slot machine buttons.

2) A large folding fan to create breezes on hot days.

3) A studded "pleather" armband which looks like something a Hokuto no Ken hero would wear to show his badassness.
 
 

Lost Aya Sophia LE

  PS2 Lost Aya Sophia Limited Edition - New Import
   Idea Factory marries school romance interaction with a supernatural storyline involving soul retrieval, latent skills, and a demon. At the outset of the game, a psychological test made up of 12 questions is administered which determines the personality traits of the player...which also grants the game's protagonist his traits. Once the game starts, actions and decisions affect the course of the game as well as the player's in-game personality and outlook. Lost Aya is designed with standard romance interaction formula where girls are met, conversations are held, and important events have the tendency of changing the scope of a relationship for better or worse. The supernatural bent in the storyline provides an interesting overlay to the interaction.

   The limited edition of Lost Aya Sophia includes an art booklet filled with sketches and color artwork of the characters in the game and a drama CD which is mounted on the back cover of the book.

   Fans of the music featured in the game may be interested in an Original Soundtrack published by King Records that's shipping on June 23 in Japan at the price of Y2300.
 
 

Princess Holiday

  PS2 Princess Holiday - New Import
   Take care of a princess over the course of a month and perhaps develop a romantic relationship with her or members of the royal party. In the beginning of the game, each day rolls along steadily and new dramas and episodes are awakened daily. Travel the kingdom by clicking on major points on a map to meet girls and watch as events unfold. To upgrade the PC original, publisher Alchemist adds a new love interest to the game and includes a new game introduction. Full voice acting also enhances the Playstation 2 conversion. The first production of the PS2 version of Princess Holiday includes a bonus music CD, which was also included in the Dreamcast limited edition.
 
 

Super Robot Wars SE Controller

  PS2 Super Robot Wars Special Edition Controller - New Import
   Continuing their recent spate of controller releases and reissues, Hori ships a new "Special Edition" production of the Super Robot Wars Controller on the same week as the release of Super Robot Wars MX.

   The preorder sheet for the item back in February 2004 showed a standard SRW Controller (originally released in May 2003) but the final production of the Special Edition controller features a slightly different color scheme and a non-flippable brace for the D-Pad which limits the controller for use with the left-hand only. The DS thumbsticks however may be used with both hands.
   The controller features two Dual Shock thumbsticks mounted on a palm-friendly platform with the four main buttons centered between them. The directional pad is mounted on the right side of the unit and the trigger buttons (L1, L2, R1, R2) are located on the space underneath the DS thumbsticks. As mentioned earlier, please note that the design of the controller only allows for left-handed use. Unfortunately, the final production does not feature the flip-over brace like the original version of the SRW controller did.

Notable features and items in the magazine
p7-23  Hudson Special feature which checks out a number of PC-Engine games from the publisher - Anearth Fantasy Stories, Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire (still one of our favorites when it comes to Engine shmups) which shows the shooter gals, their respective ships and power-ups, and even a little bit of the raytraced models used in the game. Two other Hudson titles explored include Far East of Eden III Namida and Zenki FX. 
p28-33  The original Lindacube game for the PC-Engine, which we consider an under appreciated game for the PCE and PS, with game info, maps, and colorful bestiary spread out over the last two pages of the spread. 
p51-66  Bonus Dokyusei 2 insert which examines each girl and offers tips on treating her nice. Many screenshots pepper the article.
