Yoshida produced a large number of illustrations for
Angel Eyes based on the Banana Fish shoujo manga.
Akimi's artistic style is somewhat similar to Patrick
Nagel's work with clean lines and simplicity key to
every piece. While we won't run down the storyline of
Banana Fish here, it's about gangs, homoerotic themes,
drugs, and male bonding. Bonding, with a capital
