From 1994 to
1999, Japanese publishers created and shipped 1700 games
to market. Here's a complete catalog of those games from
early rulers such as Ridge Racer and Tohshinden to more
recent favorites such as Internal Section, Serial
Experiments Lain, Hyper Crazy Climber, and many more.
Every game is given a short synopsis and at least one screenshot.
The games are catalogued into different year spans and
into genres such as
Fighting, Shooting, RPG, etc for quick 'n easy
reference.
There's a section in the book which photographs and
describes many controller released for the Playstation
back in the day including the various Dual Shock colors,
the NeGcon, Hori's superb Real Arcade Stick, official
Jogging controllers, the Hori 2-way pad which copied the
SFC controller design, Sanyo's pachinko controller,
various fishing rods, and the Beatmania DJ deck. Missing
however is the knob controller that was released for
Blockids and other Arkanoid style games.
The paper in the book is of excellent, glossy quality
and the book is in new, mint, perfect condition. There
are 274 pages total.
