The cover to
today's issue of Saturn Fan shows the transition
(through the logo) from old to new as Dreamcast takes
the forefront of Sega development.
Notable features and items in the magazine
p12-17 The heads of
Warp introduce readers to their much hyped D2 project
and the magazine interviews Kenji Eno and Yasushi
Akimoto.
p18-23 Carrier
preview with an introduction to the storyline and
characters in the game. Sketches and a mockup of the
carrier are included.
p40-43 A preview of
Sengoku Turb with many scenes and character interaction
from the various levels.
p47 A game called "Little Dream" is
featured but was never released. Looks like a run of the
mill adventure game - so it's ok that it never
dawned.
p69-83 Virtua Fighter
3tb coverage was dominant back in 1998 and even more
moves, character artwork, tactics and information is
included.
p132-133 Saturn Capcom Generation Vol. 4 -
Gunsmoke, Commando, and Mercs are inspected - the three
run 'n shoot games hold up fairly well in light of
today's standards.
p148-155 - Naomi games are
previewed such as House of the Dead 2, Power Stone,
Spikeout, etc. |
