New, shiny, factory pulled Dreamcast pcb + GD-Rom kit from Sega's shuttered manufacturing of the DC a few years back. The item consists of a Dreamcast v1.2 pcboard and an attached GD-Rom drive. Should your old Dreamcast ever die (heaven forbid), all you will need to do is remove the entire pcb and GD-Rom from your old Dreamcast and plop this replacement in. You will use your old powerboard and controller ports - which fit perfectly with this model. Please note however that this version of the Dreamcast cannot be modified with our DC chip and you would have to use a Cheats 'n Codes boot disk to play imports.

Please read below before purchasing

Attention #1: The v1.2 pcboard + GD-Rom will not work as replacements for old Japanese
Dreamcast consoles which use the pipette style heatsink which is connected to the fan.

Attention #2: The v1.2 pcboard + GD-Rom parts are not interchangeable with earlier Dreamcast revisions in any way. I.e, you will not be able to swap the drive from this item and use it with a v1.1 pcboard and vice versa. The two parts photographed above must be used together ONLY.
