Scrap Heap Scramble - PSX - Like New

Basically, a new, pristine condition PSX that was sold to a customer...who returned it because the menus are in Japanese. The unit is in perfect condition and will play Japanese PS2 games and Japanese movie DVDs. There's also a DVD-burner and a hard drive built into the unit.

We sell these new for US$750 but we're discounting the unit by about US$300 because the unit has been opened. We're guessing that Sony's going to write these things off as a loss since sales in Japan have been dismal and our own sales of the units have been less than glowing in the past few months. So much for technological "fusion."

Please note that no joypad is included with the PSX but Dual Shock 2 pads may be used with it.

Some notes:
1) The remote control included with the unit is universal-capable and may be programmed to work with other devices.
2) Two Astro Boy themed AA batteries are included with the unit.
3) The PSX uses a Gemstar decoder for television broadcasts but it may not be compatible with USA programming. We're pretty sure of this. 
4) We're selling the PSX mainly as a curiosity item which just happens to play Japanese PS2 games and movie DVDs. It also looks sorta cool.
