Scrap Heap Scramble - Broken Tristar

We received this unit DOA from the manufacturer a few years ago. Shipping it back to Asia would have been costly so we threw it in storage and time passed. It would have been entombed for another decade if Scrap Heap Scramble never materialized.

The Tri-Star allows 8-bit Famicom cartridges to be played on a SFC or SNES but this unit does not work. It might be a simple fix, or maybe not. Either way, it's an interesting piece of gray market video game history. The item is in pristine condition and never used...probably because it's dead.
