Sing! Tumbling Dice

Employee of the month

DC Utau! Tumbling Dice - New Import

When an old codger passes on a karaoke bar (heavily in debt) to the player, a bill of a billion yen must be paid off by reviving the business and getting things hopping again before the bank forecloses on the whole shebang. Along with the business, three sisters become your employees who help with the day to day operations. On the road to financial recovery, perhaps one of the sisters may also become a romantic partner. Once in business, the player battles rivals, works to attract customers, and struggles to manage the ever ballooning debt on the way to riches...or maybe just survival.
A total of seven employees are under your guidance who must be assigned to work schedules to maximize performance. Managers must also watch the stamina level of each person - if anyone falters under a heavy work load, he/she may need a vacation to return to normalcy. Sales are tallied at the end of every month and higher sales help to boost morale as well as extra cash for advertising which leads to even better sales in coming months.

Super Chinese Fighter 1+2

Super Chinese 1

Super Chinese 2

GBA Super Chinese Fighter 1+2 - New Import

Nearly two decades after debuting on the Famicom, Culture Brain rehashes the Super Chinese games by re-releasing one and remaking the other. The first Super Chinese (1986) is re-issued in its original form and features simple punching action where a hero runs around the screen knocking out roaming fighters. A jump move may also be performed where hero-boy goes heels over head and bops enemies from the screen. Blocks scattered across each level may be destroyed to release power-ups and other special items.

Super Chinese 2 enjoys a GBA-powered remake with upgraded graphics and vibrant musical scores which titter throughout the game. Players roam the world in standard adventuring fashion but when encounters are initiated, the screen changes to a punch 'n kick battle royale where foes are fought with punches and jump attacks. An option in SC2 offers simple mini-games such as a balloon punching game, a platform jumping game, punching out obstacles to reach a goal, and others which are played in sequence.

Along with the two major games in the cartridge, there's a third game which may be selected from the intro menu. It's a simple  puzzle game where colored blocks are picked up and planted in front of matching color locations. It gets better in later levels but the first two stages are more chore than game.

  PS2 The Cat Fight - SP2000 Vol. 55 - New Import

When two amazons face off, fangs are bared and the claws dig deep - just like alley cats in primitive fighting action. According to D3, when gals fight, they dress in provocative swimsuits and battle with punches, kicks, and mysterious special skills. Then there's the mighty "Sexy attack" which is ignited when the "sexy gauge" is full. Indeed. Watch as 10 lovely fighters dance across the ring, stinging with hooks and kicking with perfectly manicured feet. When a warrior wins, a new costume is added to her wardrobe for a maximum of 11 possible threads. Frenzied ringside fans occasionally throw weapons into the ring which may then be used to beat down an opponent with expediency.

DearS Regular Edition

DearS Limited Edition

  PS2 DearS - New Import

An alien girl named Ren and a number of extraterrestrial cohorts reach Earth to live and learn amongst the natives. Unschooled in the ways of the planet, the space gals get themselves into trouble and wacky situations on the road to knowledge. They need help. As the hero/tutor in the game, the player steps into the role of a high school student who takes Ren in as a houseguest and teaches her the way of the world.

Every space girl in the game is well endowed with ample and highly animated attributes. The pendulousness is nothing short of astounding to witness. Publisher Mediaworks boasts a total of 4000 animation cels that were used in the game...and we believe them. An example of the fine animation quality is shown below. While the DearS animation is set to debut later this summer, the voice actresses from the upcoming series and the DearS radio show were hired to lend their vocal talents to the PS2 game.

Along with the regular edition of the game, NCS is also offering a limited edition which includes a bonus 15-track BGM CD and an original drama played by the voice actors from the radio show and animation series. A pair of trading cards are also included where rubbing the paper will enhance Ren's bosoms from normal size to...gigantic size. Very innovative science...

  PS2 Let's Make a J-League Pro Soccer Club 2004 - New

Sega updates the "Let's Make...Soccer" series for 2004 with new options which expand tournament modes, player trades, and management functions in the game. Along with the standard Japanese professional teams, players and teams from the European majors may be drafted and used in a fledgling soccer club.
Players take the role of a behind the scenes manager who wields total control of a soccer team. Manage the finances of the club, handle player trades, set up promotional events with marquee players and guide the direction of the club like a true entrepreneur.

Shinkon Gattai Godannar

DVD-Rom and bonus DVD

PS2 Shinkon Gattai Godannar - New Import

In the year 2042 A.D., strange slug creatures known as Mimesis attack humanity but are fended off by the Super Robot Godannar. The human driver of Godannar, Go Saruwatari defeats the beasts but loses his partner and fiance in the process. During the battle, Go saves a young girl named Anna Aoi who eventually becomes his blushing bride to be. On the day of the wedding, the Mimesis return and Go rushes off into battle once again...
Following the animation closely, the PS2 Godannar game features interaction, action, and fighting sequences with robots such as the Godannar, Neo Okusar, Core Gunner, Godannar Twin Mode, and others.
Every copy of the game includes a bonus DVD which contains the entire first season (13 episodes) of the Japanese animation series.

PS2 Vampire Panic - New Import

A powerful vampire rises from a deep sleep and begins to terrorize a town. By biting and sucking the blood from hapless humans, the vampire curses his victims with a dark gift. Turned from cattle to creatures of the night with a bloody thirst of their own, the population of vampires begins to grow... Four heroes hear of the troubles being wrought and visit the little town to stem the vampiric infection before hundreds of bloodsuckers are running amok. Choose a hero from three possible champions and hack, slash, and perform chain combination attacks to destroy the roaming undead. An evade move and a guard block helps to blunt strikes from monsters.

Xenosaga Episode II

PS2 Xenosaga Episode II - New Import

The crew from Xenosaga I - Shion, KOS-MOS, Junior, Chaos, etc return in the sequel which takes place immediately after the events of Xenosaga I. While we won't spoil anything based on our playthrough this morning (under threats of bodily injury), the cinemas in the game are very impressive to view and the character models appear to animate much more smoothly over the original.
NCS ships the regular edition of Xenosaga II today and some early preorders will receive a bonus DVD which contains close to 4 hours of game footage and cinemas. Sadly, we did not receive enough to give one to everyone who preordered but it's a very nice DVD and we'll look into posting up some of the cinemas on a server somewhere.

Metal Slug 3

XBX Metal Slug 3 - New Import

General Morden returns to impose his vision of a new world order upon the world. That won't do. Four grunts going by the names of Eri, Fio, Marco and Tarma pack the heat and head for the South Seas to begin a mission of epic proportions. The first level starts off with the storming of a beach which is populated by massive crabs. The first two crabs that come into view are dining on fish but shoot at them and watch as they explode into a juicy eruption of shell, claws, and green bile. The crabs attack with claws but they also shoot out bubbles of orange liquid which may be shot down or slashed. In addition to the regular arcade version of Metal Slug 3, the Xbox version includes two unlockable missions (Storming the Mothership, Fat Island) and new Slugs.
