PLEASE READ: The NEW SHOP is separate and distinct from the OLD SHOP. If you place an order on the OLD SHOP, you will not be able to use the NEW SHOP to check on your order and vice versa. Unfortunately, we were not able to resolve the two shop databases in order to transfer customer histories and accounts. Both shops are fully operational and capable of taking orders.

Naruto GBA SP

GBA Naruto GBA SP Bundle - New Import

Special variant GBA SP units were released with furious abandon last year but the pace slowed in 2004. The most recent variants were the Pokemon Leaf Green and Fire Red versions which sold...slowly. There's a limit to any fervor, especially at ~US$200 a pop, but things pick up once again with the new orange (spice?) colored GBA SP which is adorned with the Naruto swirl on the lid. Limited to only 7,000 units produced, the Naruto GBA SP is comparable to a Torchic GBA SP in terms of color but the orange is slightly darker than the bright shade that was used for Torchic's turn.

Along with the GBA unit, a copy of Bandai's Naruto RPG is bundled inside the nifty cardboard container and a Naruto kaleidoscope is included separate from the main bundle. All preorders are shipping today and new orders are welcome for dispatch this afternoon.

Enjoy Plus Pack

GC Enjoy Plus Pack + Clear Controller - New Import

Nintendo revives the Japanese Enjoy Plus Pack by bundling a platinum Gamecube console, a platinum Gameboy Player, a platinum pad, a Memory Card 251, and a special limited edition clear controller. Covered by a transparent shell, the clear controller reveals its innards and hearkens back to the days of Skeleton Saturns and other see-through gimmickry.

All preorders are shipping today. NCS is able to install a mod switch for an additional US$38 if requested. With the likelihood of future GC games foiling the Freeloader, the mod switch may become necessary...

Decathlete Collection

  PS2 Decathlete Collection - Sega Ages 2500 Vol. 15 - New

Athens beckons as the summer of 2004 lumbers along but Sega has other plans. While SCE laid out heavy coin for the "Official Video Game of the Olympic Games...," Sega looks to the past and collects Decathlete, Winter Heat, and Virtua Athlete 2K into one bundle and reissues the games under the Sega Ages 2500 banner for PS2. Take control of 1 of 24 possible athletes and compete in 27 summer and winter events such as hammer throw, track, downhill slalom, and many others. The gameplay consists of button thumping, proper timing, and steely precision in order to succeed.
Similar to all other Sega Ages 2500 games, looseleaf liner notes which offer information on the game(s) are included inside each copy of Decathlete.

Gradius V LE

PS2 Gradius V Limited Edition - New Import

soldout

The Gradius V Limited Edition includes the Gradius V game (with Vic Viper booklet inside), the GV Official DVD, and the Gradius V Origins DVD that we reviewed last week.
The Official DVD captures all of the levels in the game as played as a shmup master who rages through the entire game in 80 minutes. Watch as shots are dodged with preternatural skill and bosses are cratered with unwavering determination. In addition to the Gradius V footage, 100 screenshots of the shooting action, stage summaries, an enemy database, boss movies, and information on Gradius Neo are included.
Orders for the Gradius V Official DVD by itself are also welcome today.

Capcom All Stars Collezion

TOYS Capcom All Stars Collection - New Impact

The festivities for Street Fighter's 15th Anniversary and Rockman's own 15th concluded last year but the two franchises are called to arms upon once again with Bandai's Capcom All Stars Collection of miniature gashapon. Measuring a mere 1.5" each, the characters featured in the collection include notables such as Ryu, Dhalsim, and Hinata from Street Fighter, Hayate from Star Gladiator, and Rockman. Most of the figures do not require any assembly and ship fully formed and molded. The exception is Ryu who stands a little taller than the others and requires plugging the top portion into the bottom. A pedestal is included with each figure for mounting purposes.

The paint job for each figure is acceptable and for the most part, clean. There are minor paint misses on some of the characters (Hinata's gloves, for example have little chips) but overall, the colors were applied well. While the Capcom All Stars Collection was dispersed randomly in plastic bags, NCS has assembled the figures into complete sets of 10 characters.
