Alien Syndrome SA2500

PS2 Alien Syndrome Sega Ages 2500 - New Import

By the year 2089, man has colonized planets beyond Earth and space stations have been set up to shuttle colonists to their destinations. Without warning, squishy alien creatures attack the stations and cause a ruckus. As one of two space crusaders who have escaped capture, player takes charge and shoots, powers up and rescues hostages through various levels. At the end of each stage, a big boss come into view which requires a lot more firepower to turn into chunky pieces. A relentless bomb timer counts down each level and behooves one to run, explore, and destroy with the quickness before it goes off. Similar to all Sega Ages 2500 games, looseleaf liner notes are included inside each game with history, storyline, and other information.

Digimon Battle Chronicle

PS2 Digimon Battle Chronicle - New Import

The mighty Digimon reach all next-gen consoles (GC, PS2, XBX)  this week with a raucous 3-D battle action game where ~50 mighty monsters bop and attack each other like...Pokemon. Collecting monsters from four seasons of the Digimon television series, popular creatures and marquee names jump, scratch, blast, and set off special attacks in the game. Digimon Battle Chronicle may be likened to a Digi-monster version of Smash Bros. Successful monsters gain digi-points which may be used for evolution and transformation into more sophisticated and powerful beasts. Up to 4-players may join in the action at once or a single player may enjoy a fighting adventure where one battles through the ranks to meet and beat various bosses. Bonus DVD incl.

Guilty Gear Isuka

PS2 Guilty Gear Isuka - New

The Guilty Gear evolution continues with the new Isuka version shipping today. Sharp, bright, and technical, Guilty Gear games play fast and control superbly. Guilty Gear Isuka continues the tradition with new modes and features. Most radical is the simultaneous 4-player support which opens up 2-on-2 bouts, 1-vs-3, or free-for-all battles. A standard 4-player match that we tried this morning was confusing with too much action onscreen at once but we're guessing that it'll grow on us after a few more matches. A total of 23 eclectic fighters are on the roster, three of which are new. A new game option dubbed "Guilty Gear Boost Mode" features punching, kicking and slashing action in a side-scrolling platform game.

Nightmare of Druaga

PS2 Nightmare of Druaga Fushigi no Dungeon - New Import

Three years after the events in Tower of Druaga, Gil continues his adventure in a new dungeon exploration game. Arika handled the development duties for the Nightmare of Druaga and has added a number of systems to enhance the experience. The Real Time Turn System allocates a speed level to all actions that Gil performs and the Another Dungeon System gives alternate dungeon routes to take when exiting main dungeon levels.
The action in Nightmare of Druaga moves in stutter-step real-time fashion as opposed to the fluid flow of an adventure such Legend of Zelda. Gil motors along, stops, turns and moves a little more. Attacks are performed in full motion with sword strokes shown in realistic action sequences.

One Piece Land Land

PS2 One Piece Land Land - New Import

The One Piece crew return to the video game fold with a side scrolling platform action game where every character is faithfully reproduced and uses his/her weapons of choice. For example, Luffy's entire body is his weapon and his innate elasticity allows him to jump higher than his crewmates and punch further and harder than anyone else. Luffy and crew roam around a world map and enter levels which are tailored for various members of the party. Areas are dotted with loathsome pirates, moving platforms, and other dangers and obstacles. An end level boss awaits at the end of each stage and the action changes to a 3-D fighting game where a One Piece hero battles such villains as the clown Buggy and the Wolverine-like Captain Kuro.

Rockman X Command Mission

PS2 Rockman X Command Mission - New Import

Some time in the far off future, a typical dystopia has emerged and it's up to Rockman and friends to set things right. Guide characters such as Rockman X, Axl, Zero, Spider, Massimo, Marino, and Cinnamon in a 3-D action-adventure where a maximum party of four leads a rebellion against an onerous empire. Battles are fought on 3-D battlefields where characters take turns attacking or the group may coordinate themselves and set off 30-hit combo-attacks which impart thousands of points of damage. Cel-shaded imagery casts Rockman and company in a new light. Battle actions are shown in full motion with each move, blast, and weapon attack depicted in exciting motion.

Samurai Spirits Zero

PS2 Samurai Spirits Zero - New Impact

Samurai, swordsmen, and other combatants gather together once again in Playmore's new port of Samurai Spirits Zero for the PS2. A total of 26 fighters are in attendance and familiar faces such as Haohmaru, Nakoruru, and Charlotte are joined by four new faces. New systems consist of the Sword Gauge and Concentration. New to the PS2 version are 2 mid-level bosses named Yumeji and Sankuro and a gallery mode which features artwork of the characters in the game. The character select stage has also changed a bit as shown below.
Fans may visit Playmore's official site for the Neo Geo version of the game. The character moves are the same as listed on the site and there's a good bit of artwork and other information on there as well.
