MOTD Famimaga 64 Vol. 2 (July 26 1996)

allgone
Shiren the Wanderer and friends crowd the cover of today's MOTD.
Notable features and items in the magazine
p8-12 New release listing for the weeks of July 12 to 25 with games such as the original Star Ocean, Gegege no Kitaro, and Bomberman for the GB on display. An advertisement for Star Ocean appears on page 12.
p13-17 An article on Nintendo Power magazine from the US which records comments from Miyamoto on the Nintendo 64 at E3 and a preview of Mortal Kombat Trilogy which lists all of the fighters in the game.
p18-31 Ultimate Play 64 guides for Super Mario 64 and Pilot Wings 64. Learn how to guide a plumber through the heights and depths of a pastel colored game world. Once you're done with that, teach yourself the ways of proper aerial maneuvering and the nuances of the various craft in PW64.
p86-91 Energy Breaker adventure details and tactical primer.
p98-99  Namco Gallery Vol. 1 for the Gameboy which collects Battle City, Galaga, and Mappy in one compact cart.
p102-103  Spriggan Powered coverage. We remember this as an average polygon-based shooter on the SFC that was released with zero fanfare despite the well known Spriggan name. Newfound mediocrity tends to humble even popular franchises.
p111-113  Colorful artwork submissions from readers.
