Namco Gals SR Gashapon

  TOYS Namco Gals SR Gashapon - New Import in Stock
   Namco's latest Gals gashapon fetish features a few relatively obscure females but we immediately recognized Hitomi Yoshino from Ridge Racer and Cassandra from Soul Calibur. Taki, also from SC2, didn't hit immediately... The others were a puzzle until we researched them a bit and uncovered their names and the games they hailed from. From the upper left and running clockwise, the gals are:

Pop Girl from Dancing Eyes | Artemis from Phelios
Black Valkyrie from Valkyrie Legend | Hitomi Yoshino from Ridge Racer

Biohazard 4

  MAGS Famitsu Magazine Special Issue - Shipping Sep 24
   Enterbrain plans a special issue of Famitsu magazine which goes on sale in Japan on Sept 24. In addition to all the latest news, jaded reviews, and pages of advertisements designed to entice buyers, the issue contains two bonus disks. On the DVD, previews of upcoming Capcom software are exhibited. On the smaller Gamecube compatible disk, a playable preview of Biohazard 4 may be enjoyed where players guide Leon Kennedy into another horror adventure which takes place on the European continent.
 
 

  NEWS Import Outlook - Shipping Wed-Thurs
   Three new Japanese imports are scheduled for this week. There's more shipping in Japan but the others are re-releases or imports of US software such as Run Like Hell....which we don't expect to sell too well.

   We're expecting PS2 Tokusatsu Henshin Hero (Simple 2000 Vol. 60) tomorrow but PS2 Ghost Hunter and XBX Otogi Hyakki Toubatsu Emaki (Best Version) are due on Thursday. Ghost Hunter was released in the USA roughly two weeks ago but we thought the Japanese cover art was better so we're getting some in.
   Restock expected this week include GC Naruto Gekitou Ninja 2 and the Donkey Konga 1+2 Bundle. On the PS2, Assault Suits Valken Zero, O-Ane-Chan Bara and Naruto Narultimate Hero should be restocked as well. Backorders will ship once the games arrive.
   On a side note for our European customers, all preorders for the USA version of Pikmin 2 on Gamecube and Street Fighter Anniversary Collection for PS2 will ship today or tomorrow.
 
 

Tobal No. 1

  SOTW PS1 Tobal No. 1 - New Japanese Stock
   Sale of the Week: On August 2, 1996, Square broke away from the orbit of their RPG development model and targeted the 3-D fighting arena. The fruit of their labor was dubbed Tobal No. 1, a 3-D polygon-based fighting game which ran at a fluid 60 fps. Akira Toriyama of DBZ fame designed the characters with his distinctive style and flair and eight combatants fought for supremacy against an otherworldly backdrop...
   Eight years later, NCS digs the game up again from the bowels of warehousing. All stock is in new, mint condition and the game is the first print Japanese edition which includes a preview of Final Fantasy VII. Originally priced at Y5800 and nigh impossible to find, we sacrifice them for US$19 each which includes USPS Media Mail + Delivery Confirmation.
