GBA Bobobobo Bobobo Bakutou Hajike Taisen - New Import 

   The blonde afro wearing superhero known as Bobobobo continues his assault on the portable gaming public with yet another GBA release. Accompanied by ungainly compatriots including one that looks like Gumby, Bobobobo and crew battle each other in 2-D fighting action and first person perspective interaction. A number of mini-games such as target practice, long distance attack, and even Bobobobo Bomberman are also playable. Upon starting the game, 8 characters may be chosen with six secret unlockables.

We chose Bobobo for our first fight and two moves are available to the blonde one: a powerful punch attack and an even more powerful nostril hair whip which lashes out downwards at hapless fools. Jumping is achieved by pushing "UP" on the D-pad and blocking may be performed by pressing on the right trigger. The fighting sequences consists of mindless button-mashing with very little in the way of strategy or depth involved. They are however necessary to slog through in order to reach the mini-games which are much more worthy...
