   Return to Raccoon City and step back into the shoes of eight possible citizens who are trying to escape a dismal and dangerous metropolis. A mutagenic virus has infected the denizens and swarms of newly minted zombies are on the hunt for fresh flesh. All of the protagonists from the first Outbreak are in attendance - Kevin Ryman, David King, Yoko Suzuki, etc.
   In one scenario, players arrive at the gates of the city zoo and explore the flora-filled locations. Walk into a deserted restaurant, a grow room and other locales. Zombies stalk the darkly lit environs but a massive virus-infected elephant eventually shows up to ramp up the fear factor. With the mighty beast on the rampage, players will have to run, hide...and eventually find something that may be able to knock it out...

   After dedicating memory cards to marquee software releases for the better part of four years, Hori continues the tradition by honoring Biohazard Outbreak File 2 with a special gray-colored memory card decorated with a virus-laden decal. In addition to the card, a gold-colored bullet keychain labeled with "Biohazard" is also included inside the blister pack. Both items are packaged atop felt material and inside a 9mm Parabellum bullet box.
 
 

Dororo

  PS2 Dororo - New Import

   Before Hyakkimaru was born, his father Kagemitsu bequeathed 48 body parts from his unborn son to demons for their help in conquering Japan. Abandoned upon birth, a sympathetic doctor named Juko gives limbs and even eyes to Hyakkimaru and the child grows up into a man. All through his life, Hyakkimaru has been followed by demons...possibly because a body such as
his should have been dead long ago. A young thief named Dororo joins Hyakkimaru in his adventures and sticks around as a sidekick of sorts. Along with grafted limbs, Hyakkimaru has four weapons hidden inside/on his body including two blades, a gun, and even a mighty bazooka. His mission is to seek out 48 demons and destroy them in order to become a whole man. Throughout the game, battle minions and face off against demons...with the final battle proving to be true revenge.

 
 

King of Colosseum 2

   Over a year after the release of King of Colosseum Green, the patience of
puroresu fans is rewarded with the release of KOC2. 
A massive assemblage of over 140 wrestlers culled from leagues such as Zero-One, Pro Wrestling Noah, and All Japan Pro Wrestling are available for the choosing along with signature moves, reasonable likenesses, and trademark flourishes.
   Famitsu granted two silvers and one gold this week - Dororo and KOC2 both received silver (30/40) while Biohazard Outbreak File 2 got the gold with 32/40.

 
 

Viewtiful Joe

   When things take a strange turn at the screening of a Captain Blue film, Joe finds himself donning spandex and fighting to save girlfriend Sylvia. Inspired by his cinema hero, Joe goes through levels by beating assorted goons and solving simple puzzles. Punches and kicks are the mainstay of Joe's assault but special powers are in the wings consisting of slow-down, mach-speed and
zoom. The first two powers affect the physics of the game - Joe can slow time or speed it up, while zoom blows out mighty local ground attacks on close foes. New to the PS2 version of Viewtiful Joe is a playable, cel-shaded rendition of Dante (of Devil May Cry fame) who may be unlocked. Dante uses a sword for close-range attacks but make him grab some air and he's also able to pull out his gun and fire away at far-away foes. Special powers are also available to the demon killer...
