   Bloodthirsty warriors from Japan's historical record are raging once again in a new Sengoku Musou. Join four new heroes - Hashiba Hideyoshi, Honda Tadakatsu, Inahime Morimasa, and Imagawa Yoshimoto in their trials and tribulations against overwhelming odds. Game modes include single player action, two-player versus, and Training School where weapons may be upgraded and challenges met. A data gallery offers information on the warriors in the Sengoku series. Upon starting a single-player game, enemy forces group around in gangs to provide fodder for a slashing hero. Whip entire crowds off their feet and venture further while hacking and slashing one's way to victory. Occasionally, enemy soldiers will stand around as if hypnotized by your magnificent skills but the game runs fairly fast overall.

   From all the re-releases shipping in Japan this week, we picked three that will probably sell okay over the next few months. If we have erred egregiously and they don't sell over the next decade, at least we'll have something to use for the 10th anniversary of Scrap Heap Scramble.

  NEWS November and December PS2 Preorders - New Additions
   The Japanese version of Gran Turismo 4 is still nowhere to be found and news of the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP is scarce. We expect some announcements at this month's Tokyo Game Show however. Playmore's King of Fighters 94 Evolution Rebout is a remake of the first KOF game. The Evolution in the title may mean that its a 3-D update and starting at the beginning allows Playmore to eventually upgrade the entire series.
