The brothers Elric and friends rejoin together for a cel-shaded 3-D
action-adventure game blessed with sharp visuals and crisp gameplay. Guide Edward through town and battle citizens in
real time as he runs up on them. A group of thugs may be standing in the middle
of the thoroughfare and Edward can attack the closest bruiser while the others
crowd around and wait for their turn. Brother Alphonse provides back up muscle
in case it is needed. Edward's gift is the
transmutation of metals and substances into objects
of war such as a sword, a spear, special shrapnel
bombs, defensive barriers, and other useful items in
a pinch. Transmutations are accompanied by electric
light shows where Edwards spins and sashays like a
dervish to create a new piece of hardware. |

During the course of
the game, Edward will make use of pogo sticks, wrecking balls, and other
interesting items to achieve mission objectives. Familiar characters such as Maes Hughes, Alex Louis
Armstrong, Riza Hawkeye, and Roy Mustang populate the world for interaction and
clues. Two new supporting cast members named Jack
Crowley and a mysterious woman named Elma provide
interaction. An amphibious creature named Phantom
also makes an appearance. |
