PS2 Bomberman Battles - New Import
   Many new bombastic characters are the stars and participants in Hudson's latest extension of the Bomberman franchise. This time around, the Bomber crew engage in games such as maze battle, baseball, tennis, and golf.
   Up to four players may join in the classic Bomberman action where roaming bombers lay down explosives and try to knock each other off. The baseball game is a full-blown simulation with player line-ups, team stadiums, and acceptable gameplay. The tennis and golf sims are also well done with all the bells and whistles of dedicated games being sold for the current crop of consoles. We're partial to the golf game from what we've tested thus far but the tennis game comes a close second. We're jaded by the maze bombing action after the many versions we've played over the years but perhaps we'll give it a go once we've had our fill of Bomberman sports...
