GBA Cartridge Cases

  GBA Retro cartridge cases - New import
   With lingering retro fever still simmering in the market, manufacturer Keys Factory ships two packs of GBA cartridge cases designed in the style of the old Famicom carts. Each case holds exactly one GBA game of your choice and sports a replica of the original game label on it face. The little ridges on the sides are there as is the white sticker affixed to the back of the original cartridges. The first pack contains replicas of Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong and Zelda while the second pack boasts Mario Bros, Balloon Fight, and Dr Mario. [Larger photos]

  NEWS January 2004 Import Preview

   A preliminary listing of Playstation 2 imports expected in January 2005 has been disclosed overnight. Some prices and dates have not been finalized yet but we should have them tonight and we'll post up the full listing on Friday.
   We're interested in the new Tekken title dubbed Death by Degrees Tekken: Nina Williams (Jan 27, 2005) which pits the heroine in a 3-D action game and Project Altered Beast (Jan 13, 2005) where manimals battle bizarre beasts in 3-D splendor. Two new volumes of Sega Ages 2500 are also shipping on January 6: Phantasy Star II and Dragon Force.

   Some additional imports shipping in December were also listed overnight and we'll also start preorders for these tomorrow. Kessen III will be available in both a regular edition and a Treasure Box deluxe set while Harukanaru Juku No Nakade 3 covers all the bases with a regular edition, a premium box, and a bundle which gathers together Harukanaru Juku No Nakade 2 and 3.

   We expect to start preorders for GC Naruto Gekitou Ninja 3 tomorrow. The date of November 20 may be wrong since Nintendo has taken it off their site and late December is looking likely. As with all Naruto games, any bonus items will be included with the first batch of preorders.

Bio Fighter Collection Max

  TOYS End of Year Preorders
   Manufacturer Max Factory has announced a Dead or Alive Kasumi figure which features everyone's favorite fighter in a pose that she's unlikely to recreate inside the arena. The PVC figure measures 21cm tall and is expected to ship in December 2004. Pricing is set at Y7800 or US$85 NCS.
   Takara peddles a set of luminous Disney miniature bottlecaps in November which feature a frosted glass character atop a standard industry cap. The whole shebang is a mere 8cm or roughly 3" tall. Twist the cap atop a bottle and watch in amazement as the colorful LED mounted on the bottom of the caps sends flashing light effects coursing through the length of the bottle.
   Max Factory has also started preorders for a Bio Fighter Max Murakami figure which measures 21cm and is fully posable. Delivery is expected in December at the price of Y3800 or US$39 from NCS.
