Transformers Collection 17 - Blitz Wing
   According to Japanese toy suppliers overnight, Takara's Transformers Collection 17 will feature the the mighty Blitz Wing which shifts from awkward-looking purple bot to sleek jetfighter to rugged tank. The triple changing Decepticon is packaged 12/case and NCS expects pricing at US$39. We are aware that various Transformers news sites have listed TC17 as Predaking but this appears to have changed. Again. We'll update any information once Predaking's status or stand-alone release is announced.

Transformers Collection 18 - Sound Blaster
   Once reported as Transformers Collection 17, Sound Blaster moves one position down to #18 and is now confirmed to ship in January. Sound Blaster pops from boxy robot to compact cassette with a near perfect rectangular shape. Similar to the original release of the toy in the 80s, the Sound Blaster reissue includes Buzzsaw. Even though Sound Blaster is packaged 12/case like many of the other Y3000 Transformers Collection toys, pricing is listed at Y5500 each for some reason. Maybe the cardboard box is bigger.
