PLEASE READ: The NEW SHOP is separate and distinct from the OLD SHOP. If you place an order on the OLD SHOP, you will not be able to use the NEW SHOP to check on your order and vice versa. Unfortunately, we were not able to resolve the two shop databases in order to transfer customer histories and accounts. Both shops are fully operational and capable of taking orders.

GBA Super Real Mahjong

Story Mode

GBA Super Real Mahjong Dousoukai - New Import
Eighteen gals from Super Real Mahjong Vol. 2 through 7 return for another few rounds of team mahjong action. After Seta kept the series going for many years, Rocket Company takes over duties for supplying the population of Japan with gal mahjong. Upon starting a game, players may choose to play story mode against the various gal teams whom all have their own background stories and situations. Along with the MJ action, two mini-games may also be played to obtain bonus costumes for the girls.
Previous incarnations of Super Real Mahjong on various consoles from the PC-Engine to the Saturn have featured some nudity as the girls had to strip whenever they lost. The politically correct Gameboy Advance version only gets as far as swimsuits on the girls and that's only because they're costume changes.

GBA Zelda no Densetsu

Minish Cap
GBA Zelda no Densetsu Fushigi no Boushi - New Import
Link ventures forth on a new adventure where his partner is a green cap with a talking bird attached to the top of it. The magic in the cap allows Link to downsize into a smaller version of himself for entry into new areas of the game world where his larger self wouldn't comfortably fit. In the beginning of the game, players guide Link through a town where he is granted a shield and sword which are assigned to the "A" and "B" buttons while the "R-Trigger" serves as an action move. A map is also eventually given to Link which keeps track of locations. A new side-game system centers on special items called kinstones which Link collects and then locates the person who holds the other half of the stone to open up new world areas or options.

PS2 Dokapon the World

PS2 Dokapon the World - New Import
The popular Dokapon board game hits the PS2 in an updated version where players choose an onscreen avatar from possible archetypes such as soldier, magician, cleric, and thief. One is not relegated to a single profession however and jobs may be changed as the game progresses. Character mobility is decided by spinning a roulette which determines the range of your next move. As one roams the board, monster encounters prevail where one fights in order to progress further. Other board spaces open up other events and locations such as shops, bonuses, mini-games, and other random happenings. Special encounters where the outcome is decided by rock-scissors-paper matches also pop up from time to time. Special items which are not available through other means may be won from such chance battles. There are three possibilities for every battle - a win where the spoils go to the victor, a surrender where items and coins are lost, and death where the character wakes up in a church sans possessions but ready for another go.
Attack commands are fairly rudimentary where the four controller buttons are assigned tasks:
0 throws out a blow, × uses a special power, and is for a magical attack. In defense mode, the same buttons are used to fend off physical and magical attacks from opponents. All preorders will include a 100-page booklet which features artwork by Mine Yoshizaki.

PS2 Sentimental Prelude

PS2 Sentimental Prelude - New Import

Years later, she returns to her hometown and the protagonist runs into her. Despite the time that has passed, perhaps love can be rekindled once again. In addition to the old gal pal, a number of other girls are possible love interests in case the old crush flames out.
Fashioned in typical dating game style, Prelude features interaction and conversation with various gals around town. Dote on a particular female target and one may get a date.

PS2 Shrek 2

  PS2 Shrek 2 - New Import

Blessed with a big jovial face, wrecked teeth, and oddly apportioned sprouts that may be ears, Shrek's a monstrous beast on the outside. Inside however, he's a prince with a big heart of gold. Join Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and a few new friends such as Jack and Jill for an adventure which echoes the events of the Shrek 2 movie but also expands upon it.
Players control a team of four characters with Shrek, for example, serving as lead while the other three are under the control of the AI. Walk around and the little troupe will follow. The lead may be switched at will however to Donkey, Fiona, or other heroes met along the way. Guide the quartet on action-exploration sequences, mini-games, puzzles, and fighting scenes where Shrek performs a belly attack while Donkey serves up Burro-Blasts.

NEWS New Japanese PS2 and Kasumi Xbox Update

All preorders for the Japanese SCPH-70000CB slim PS2 console are shipping today. In a bit of irony, we're able to stock the import PS2 consoles far easier than the domestic USA version due to the bundles that USA distributors are forcing vendors to buy. For example, in order to purchase a new type USA PS2, two to four drek games are also a required purchase for an additional $80 to $160. The short supplies of the new PS2 in the USA also contribute to the overall malaise. New orders for the Japanese SCPH-70000CB are welcome to ship today.
A small initial batch of the Kasumi Xbox arrived today and we will be able to fill approximately a third of our preorders today. The remainder of the Kasumi console bundles should arrive by next week and we'll process the rest of our preorders once the units are in stock. The bonus items included inside each Kasumi bundle are as follows: Transparent blue Xbox console and joypad, the Dead or Alive Ultimate game, a DVD Playback kit, a 1-year Xbox Live subscription, and a life-size, inflatable Kasumi pillow.
The MOTD feature will resume next week and will run consistently once again. Apologies for the intermittent posting this week. Another Scrap Heap Scramble update will also be posted on Monday with some hardware that we located in the past few weeks.
