New SNK Best games

  PS2 King of Fighters 2000 / Metal Slug 3 - New Imports
   Playmore pumps up the printing presses once again for reproductions of PS2 King of Fighters 2000 and Metal Slug 3. The covers are the same as the originals except for the greenish-yellow frame around the left and top of the packaging. The backs of the DVD inserts are identical to the originals except for the new pricing and copyright information.
   When old games get new life in the current market, it's basically pure profits for the publisher. The development and marketing costs have been amortized and the only new costs are packaging, printing, and a license fee to Sony. It's good work if you can get it.
 
 

Naruto Wristband

  ETC Naruto Wristband Bonus
   GC Naruto Gekitou Ninja 3 has shipped from overseas and it will arrive tomorrow. Tomy shows fans love once again by including a bonus wristband. Unfortunately, the wristband was not included 1:1 with each copy of the game (more like 1 band for every 3 copies of the game) by the Japanese distributors but most preorders already submitted prior to today should include the bonus. We'll post more photos tomorrow once the stock arrives.
   Please note that new preorders placed today will probably not include the wristband due to the aforementioned allocation of bands.
 
 

Kasumi Xbox

  ETC General Updates - JPN
   Additional supplies of the Kasumi Xbox bundle will arrive tomorrow. Our suppliers would not honor our preorder pricing but we met them halfway to a slightly higher price. As such, we will be able to fill all remaining preorders for the bundle but pricing is now set at US$350 up from US$335. We will contact customers on our reservation list today to re-confirm at the higher price. We expect to stock a few more bundles next week and interested parties may contact us to preorder one.
   All preorders for the Kingdom Hearts GBA SP bundle will ship tomorrow and we may be able to supply some extras to new orders. We'll update accordingly once we have the shipment and process all preorders.
   DDR Festival and Pop 'n Music 10 will ship tomorrow but please note that there was a delay with Beatmania IIDX 8th Style and the limited editions of Pop 'n Music 10 and Beatmania due to late release by konamistyle.com. We now expect BMIIDX 8th and the limited editions to arrive on Friday.
 
 

GC Baten Kaitos

  ETC General Updates - USA
   One of our sleeper sales leaders from the import Gamecube makes it way to the USA today, exactly one year later. Baten Kaitos plies card-based adventuring where players take control of heroes Kalas and Xelha and discover the mysteries of the lost sea. All export preorders to vendors and retail customers will ship today
   Capcom Fighting Evolution [USA] also arrived today and all preorders are shipping. Please note that the Japanese version of the game, called Capcom Fighting Jam, ships next month and will include a bonus DVD which shows off expert fighters battling it out.
   The USA version of Metal Gear Solid 3 arrives tomorrow and all export preorders to vendors and retail customers will ship by Thursday afternoon. We don't expect any shortages and new orders are welcome to also ship by tomorrow. Please note that the Japanese version of MGS3 is expected on December 16.
   GC Metroid Prime 2 Echoes [USA] arrived yesterday and all preorders have shipped. New orders are welcome. The only other big USA title for this week is GC Viewtiful Joe 2 [USA] which is expected on Thursday.

 Cover   Virtua Cops relax for a moment before the coming firefight.
p0 A thick cardboard page holds a Saturn CD-Rom brimming with playable previews and demos of various Saturn software. The cardboard page is so thick that extricating the CD requires some modicum of restraint and skill. There's a flap which one is supposed to open to ease the CD out but it barely helps. The CD contains previews of the following:
p4-7 Virtua Cop playable preview information and tips on shooting thugs with efficacious accuracy.  
p8-9 Virtua Fighter 2 playable preview and CG collection. 
p10-11 Sega Rally playable preview + information.
