  NEWS General Updates
   Japanese distributors have confirmed our preorders for the Nintendo DS which is expected to ship from Japan on Wednesday. Supplies for the hardware appear to be readily available but they did mention that some software titles may be short shipped this week. Our leading Japanese Nintendo DS software preorder, Sawaru! Made in Wario, does not appear to be affected by shortages and we expect to fill all preorders this coming week. 
   The Japanese version of Dragon Quest VIII will be released in Japan tonight and we have arranged for an Express shipment to arrive on Monday. All preorders for the game will ship upon arrival and new orders are welcome. Please note the Asian version of Dragon Quest VIII is currently in stock and available to ship today. Both versions are the Japanese version but the difference in the Asian edition is the inclusion of an English quickstart guide.
   The new Hori Real Arcade Pro Joystick featuring a Capcom Fighting Jam motif has been released in Japan but we're holding off on the shipment until early next week. The Japanese version of Capcom Fight Jam which includes a bonus match DVD is expected on Wednesday-Thursday of next week.  
   The MOTD feature will resume next week along with another batch of Scrap Heap items on Monday. Since today is "Black Friday," according to stateside retailers, we may have to close early and stampede to the mall later today...
