PLEASE READ: The NEW SHOP is separate and distinct from the OLD SHOP. If you place an order on the OLD SHOP, you will not be able to use the NEW SHOP to check on your order and vice versa. PS2 Dragon Quest VIII
  NEWS General Updates
   The Asian version of Dragon Quest VIII didn't make it in today but it's now slated for Wednesday. We'll stick to our shipping plans however and send preorders once the game arrives. We will reconfirm preorders with customers by email today to verify that it's okay to ship the Asian version on Wednesday. We will also receive the Japanese version of the game but that's scheduled to arrive on Monday or Tuesday of next week.
   Famitsu Wave DVD (December 2004) has been restocked. All backorders have shipped on Monday and new orders are welcome for dispatch today. Pricing for the new batch is $17.50/copy which includes shipping with USPS Media Mail. Our shopping link goes to the old shop since the new shop will automatically charge shipping costs.
   The USA Nintendo DS launch this past weekend was a success by most metrics. Too bad supplies are lagging in North America but we expect the Japanese launch to be much better in terms of stock. Many distributors in Japan have reconfirmed their preorder quantities with us and we don't expect any shortages. The yen/dollar situation is another matter however as the greenback continues its plunge downwards. We have rejiggered pricing of the Japanese Nintendo DS to US$195 for new preorders but we expect to honor original pricing for preorders that have already been submitted.
