GBA Gameboy Wars Advance 1+2 - New Import
It was a travesty when Nintendo decided to release Advance Wars 2 in the USA but neglected to favor fans in Japan with the game. To make up for the transgression, Nintendo crams the first Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2 into a massive 16 megabyte (128 megabit) cartridge, paints some new artwork for the game select screens, and dishes it out for long suffering Japanese fans to eat up.

Gameplay is the same as it ever was with the game tutor Katherine giving pointers and game tips to new soldiers. Watch and learn as she teaches the benefits of a first strike, defensive positions inside cities or in elevated positions, merging damaged units, and general pointers on proper warfare. The usual opposing armies such as Yellow Comet, Blue Moon, and Green Earth provide the opposition. In Advance Wars 2, Ryo, Domino, and Max return to lead armies to victory and joust against memorable foes such as Cat, Kong, Snake, and Hawke. Modes include Free Battle, Trial Mode, Edit Mode (create your own maps and populate it with buildings, roads, military units, etc or adjust character colors) and a few other modes to test and experiment with.
