PLEASE READ: The NEW SHOP is separate and distinct from the OLD SHOP. If you place an order on the OLD SHOP, you will not be able to use the NEW SHOP to check on your order and vice versa. Unfortunately, we were not able to resolve the two shop databases in order to transfer customer histories and accounts. Both shops are fully operational and capable of taking orders.

TOY Famicom History Special

  ETC General Updates
Yujin has announced a new "SR Famicom History" gashapon (capsule toy) set where six classic consoles and accessories are gathered together to relive the golden age of Nintendo. NCS expects delivery in March 2005 and preorders are welcome starting today.
Due to transit and clearance delays, the Dragon Quest Slime Controllers are now expected on December 8-10. It appears the controllers were misclassified as regular toy figures instead of electronics and we're getting that straightened out.
The Sony PSP ships in 2 weeks. Shortages on the launch date of Dec 12 are expected. Over the past few days, the torrent of inquiries concerning how the supplies will be handled in Japan have increased but we have little new information from distributors at this point. We will post an update when we have further details on how the units will be allocated. Our experience:
The goal of any game manufacturer is to have a huge launch. One way to help create buzz and the perception of success is to limit supply. Once the launch is over, it is not uncommon to flood the market with units. The ultimate goal after the launch is not to hoard supply but to sell mass units into the marketplace and quickly establish a strong user base.
