PLEASE READ: The NEW SHOP is separate and distinct from the OLD SHOP. If you place an order on the OLD SHOP, you will not be able to use the NEW SHOP to check on your order and vice versa. Unfortunately, we were not able to resolve the two shop databases in order to transfer customer histories and accounts. Both shops are fully operational and capable of taking orders.

  NDS Japanese Hardware, Software in stock - New Imports
   We're pretty much presold out of everything already with a big surge in orders over the past few days. All preorders for Sawaru! Made in Wario are shipping today but there were some games that were short-shipped as we mentioned last week. Daigassou! Band Brothers includes a bonus pair of earphones and ships in a cardboard box while every other game ships in a jewel-case-sized clamshell container that seems to be sturdy. In a first for Nintendo portable product, every Nintendo DS game (except Band Brothers) is shrink-wrapped. As a retailer, we can only applaud and hope that this becomes the norm for Nintendo. Photos and shop information.

GBA Cinnamon

  GBA Cinnamon: Yume no Daibouken - New Import
   Cinnamon is a little, floppy-eared pup who defies the passage of time and stays the same age forever. Generations from now, Cinnamon and his little friends Cappuccino, Chiffon, Expresso, Milk, and Mocha will never age and will always appeal to new gangs of children around the world. Just like all of Sanrio's marquee beasts, age is inconsequential and immortality has been granted to each and every one of them. Imagine Hello Kitty requiring a walking cane 50 years from now or Badtz Maru swigging whiskey in an old age home. Not going to happen.
   In Imagineer's latest licensing venture with Sanrio, Cinnamon finds itself in a pastel colored game world where flowery colors and soft hues are rampant. Travel around the game world and engage in platform action where Cinnamon dawdles around, float-flies, and collects candy, confections, and delicious-looking pastries in order to proceed further. Five levels make up the game but the objective is always the same: grabbing all the eats and collecting them with fury. Targeted at a younger set, we nevertheless found ourselves enamored with Cinnamon's latest.

PS2 Card Captor Sakura

  PS2 Card Captor Sakura - New Import
Mistress of the Clow Cards, Sakura Kinomoto takes a break from collecting cards in the town of Tomoeda and diverges into Eyetoy action where simple motion sensitive mini-games are the rage. Sakura, Tomoya, Cerberos and the rest of the gang participate to encourage fan participation.

PS2 D>A White LE

  PS2 D>A White - New Imports
   Interesting interaction-adventure which deals with life, death, angels, demons, and alternate worlds. The game deftly mixes a lively menu-based conversation system with cut-scenes and a fairly well-done action-shooting engine where the player's onscreen team controls a targeting cursor and attacks various enemies throughout the game. Production values of the game are high and the polish shows off with the clean animation sequences and the shiny gloss of the action sequence.
   Along with the regular edition of D>A White, NCS also stocks a limited edition which includes a bonus data DVD which spans over 100 minutes of fun and whimsical material as follows:

1) A live music video featuring pop duo "tiaraway" singing "from silent sky."
2) Art gallery
3) D->A White opening movie
4) D->A Black cinema
5) Voice actor/actress performances Character profiles and art portfolio

A contest questionnaire postcard is also included in the limited edition package which will allow up to 500 lucky winners a prize (phone card, strap).

PS2 UFE3

  PS2 Ultraman Fighting Evolution 3 - New Import
   Ultraman pounds out the hurt once again in Banpresto's latest take on the popular action hero from Japanese pop culture. Baltan and all the usual oddly apportioned enemy creatures are in force where gargantuan fighters battle in all-out rough 'n tumble bouts. The controls seem identical to the previous Fighting Evolutions and the visual feast looks to be at the same level as before with polished scenery and cityscapes to fight within. Special moves and attacks have been redone however and look spiffy. The opening movie to the game shows off a row of Ultramen pitted against a similarly long line of monsters.

   Playable characters include new inductees such as Ultraman 80, Ultraman Cosmos to the Ultraman Corps and Red King (finally makes it to the Fighting Evolution series) and the usual suspects such as Bemstar, Baltan-seijin, the robotic King Joe, Gomorra, Dada, and other home wrecking wretches. Upon starting the game, a number of modes are listed including Ultra Mode (story mode), Versus Mode, Tag Mode, Tutorial Mode, View Mode, and Custom Mode. Ten different Ultraman are playable in the game along with twenty-four fearsome foes.
