PS2  Taiko no Tatsujin Go! Go! Godaime - New Import
Drum masters with a yen for slapping out rhythmic beats get another collection of 45 songs to pound the skins to. As usual, cues roll down a conveyor belt and one must hit the drum accordingly in order to score. Ranking depends on accuracy and timing of the drum beat as the stream of cues flow down the line and elicit action. The songs span the genres of J-Pop, animation, classical, and Namco originals with representation from Hokuto no Ken, Cutey Honey, Mickey Mouse March, Anpanman, Choo Choo Train, Offenbach's Heaven and Hell, Mr Driller, and Rave Racer's Blue Topaz track. It's a lively and hearty mix that should appeal to all ages of rhythm hipsters.

Four new mini-games provide short but somewhat sweet diversions to the overall drumming action. In one of the games, the Tatacon creatures eat a massive vegetable and then launch themselves into the air by way of bombastic flatulence. As they rise ever higher, chunks of food may be chomped on various ledges for additional gaseous blasts to reach the heavens. In another mini-game, it's a mad dash to the finish where Tatacons race against each other on a convoluted course. They'll scuttle, roll, and even call upon the spirit of the fastest creature on Earth - the cheetah, to rock to the finish line.
