Six European leagues comprised of 116 teams are playable in the game. The team selection also extends to South American teams for an additional bit of variety. As an all-seeing manager of sorts, handle the day to day operations of the club and initiate player trades, haggle on salary contracts, set up a practice regimen for the players, and guide muscle-bound kickers in precision matches. Konami uses the realistic animations and graphics from WE8 to create a feast of soccer eye candy and uses an improved AI for computer controlled teams so that they counter your management acumen with some semblance of mettle and intelligence.
