SOTD Scrap Heap Scramble: New Sakura Online Clock

   The Limited Edition Sakura Taisen Online Paris no Yuuka na Hi ships in a 15 x 13" cardboard box which in turn houses two cardboard sleeves within. Sandwiched in one of the sleeves is the Sakura desk clock you see above, whose measurements approximate the size of the box it's in. A single AA battery (included but very likely discharged by now) powers the timepiece and it's meant to be stood on a desk like a photo portrait.

   Once a working AA battery is inserted into the receptacle in back, a little hand starts ticking down the seconds and time begins to be told. The frame of the clock is made of shiny metal and the Sakura artwork is on a high-gloss lacquered material which we found tends to scratch easily. A one-of-a-kind item that was only packaged with the limited edition of Sakura Taisen Online but now available for normal sale courtesy of Scrap Heap Scramble.
