SOTD Scrap Heap Scramble: Assorted Drek
   That's right. Drek. What else to call non-functioning items that have no redeeming value other than to those who enjoy tinkering and experimentation. The following items are included in this offer:

1) Three PS2 DVD-Region X packages with boot disk and dongle. None appear to work but projects with the dongle may be engendered. The CDs may be used as hot beverage coasters to keep condensation from ruining your mahogany table.

2) A Nexus 16M card for the Dreamcast. Non-working but has potential as modern art with the proper papier mache background of your own making.

3) Three GC 64M USB memory cards with USB cable and software. Two of these may work but not all of the space is available if we recall correctly but we were able to transfer data to/from them and get the PC to recognize the cards. Normal retail per unit is US$45. Alternative uses: Erase the 3.5" disks and use them for data backup. Use the cables in lieu of rope in dire emergencies or string the 64M memory cards together for a wacky sort of necklace... 

   The cardboard and paper packaging from all of the items may also be used to line your birdcage.
