In the 1920s, the Tokyu Corporation started
developing its rail lines in southwest Tokyo and
essentially designed its own ridership along the
way. Housing projects were built up along the
railway tracks to ensure that as the city's
population grew, the railway would be situated close
to housing and in turn, millions of passengers. Take
control of a train and guide it through kilometers
of track as you escort daily riders to their
appointed rounds.
Three main routes are available to test one's train
conducting skills
1) Den'en Toshi Line - From Shibuya (Shibuya
Ward, Tokyo) to Chuo Rinkan (Yamato City, Kanagawa)
(Total distance 31.5km)
2) Toyoko Line - From Shibuya (Shibuya Ward,
Tokyo) to Yokohama (Nishi Ward, Yokohama City,
Kanagawa) (Total distance
24.2km) <more> |
