   In a rough and tumble downtown, a shadowy underworld controls basic operations and honor must be protected by muscle, force, threats, etc. To back down from aggression would indicate weakness.
   When a young tough's girlfriend is kidnapped by gangland hooligans, it's time to strut down the street and bust heads. All the way to the top of the criminal food chain. Viewed in 3-D roaming action, the slickly coiffed hero punches, kicks, and does a few special moves to mow down the opposition. Foes use standard attacks as well as swords and guns to deter hero-boy from wrecking the entire gang's reputation.
 
 

PS2 Shinseiki Yuusha Taisen
 PS2 Shinseiki Yuusha Taisen - New Import
   As the 15th anniversary of the Yuusha (Brave) Saga series rolls around, developer Twinky Soft revisits the Brave Saga series with a new tactics strategy game which features characters and robots from a number of classic Sunrise animation. In addition to striking character portraits and artwork in the game, nearly 100 voice actors were hired to perform the spoken word.
   The game is played on an isometric playfield where robots moves in real time after actions are selected. Upon selecting an attack, a new window opens up over the map screen and the attack is shown in fluid detail. Special attacks are also shown where bots motor on the map and then perform animated attacks in a cut scene window. The attack then proceeds to happen on the main map screen with damage effects shown on the targeted bots. Attacks are selected from a list of available options similar to standard Super Robot Wars games. The presentation is a bit more dramatic with spinning bots, super attacks in bloom, and rampaging team attacks spooled off in dazzling sequence.
 

 

 

PS2 Swords of Destiny

   Set in ancient China, a beautiful and tyrannical Empress named Yang Yuan rises from her slumber and rouses an army of heavily armored demons to take over the land. Swashbuckling hero Lei Yun's master once defeated the Empress with special skills and it's now up to the apprentice to venture forth and repeat history.

   Played in fast and stylish action, players take control of Lei Yun and slash, jump, and hang in mid-air as blows elevate his being ever higher. Powerful attacks lift the hero and Lei eventually floats while hitting with thunderous force. Evasive moves also allow for rolling out of danger when enemies mob up the screen. Lei's master bequeathed three powerful swords to him which have different effects but additional weapons may be picked up from defeated demons - publisher MMV touts 48 additional weapons to discover. A few friends join in the fun including a swordsman named Yan De and the hero's gal pal Tao Xiang.

GBA Pikachu GBA SP unit
 NEWS Pikachu GBA SP - Shipping March 10, 2005
   Pikachu with its ruddy cheeks, bright eyes, and non-existent snout finally finds a place on a GBA SP variant that's colored a bright banana-yellow. The electric Pokemon is also featured as a silhouette on the inside of the GBA SP below the "A" and "B" buttons for added Pikachu-flavored value.
   Similar to other special Pokemon GBA SP variants, Nintendo is only peddling the Pikachu version at Pokemon Centers in Japan but NCS will be able to offer units to our own customers as well. Pricing is set at US$145 with delivery expected on or around March 10.
