NCS Game Synopsis
 ©NCSX▪ Just as Ashley is about to turn 14 years old, she receives a surprise gift which contains a Nintendo DS (well, its dubbed a DAS in the game) and a card. Written on the card is an invitation from her father to visit him on Brad Edward Island. Problem: Ashley's dad disappeared a while ago. Her parents were developing "Another" for a shadowy government agency which was a device capable of affecting the memories of people.

   Eager for a reunion, Ashley hops on a boat commandeered by a fogey old sailor and reaches the island but finds no one to greet her. Curious about the whereabouts of her father, Ash sets off on a quest for clues to find poppy and answers to the "Another" project mystery.
 
   The D-pad or stylus may be used to move Ashley around the game world. To send her rambling from point A to point B, tap and hold on point B and watch as she obediently walks while the world moves commensurately with her.

    Another Code features an overhead view of the action and exploration on the lower NDS screen while the top screen shows off cut scenes of sites explored and/or puzzles. For example, while walking down a road, the top screen may display a gate on the road or a sign. When meeting a person, the top screen will show a portrait of the person along with interaction choices. A number of puzzles in the game are also playable where the top screen shows the event and the bottom screen is where objects are manipulated.
