PLEASE READ: The NEW SHOP is separate and distinct from the OLD SHOP. If you place an order on the OLD SHOP, you will not be able to use the NEW SHOP to check on your order and vice versa. Unfortunately, we were not able to resolve the two shop databases in order to transfer customer histories and accounts. Both shops are fully operational and capable of taking orders.

TOY Domokun Plush Set JPN

TOYS Domokun Samurai Plush Set - Shipping in July 2005
Domokun, Usaji, and Ta-chan garb themselves in the clothing of Edo era Japan and represent the really old school. Each plush measures 20cm tall or roughly 7.87" from top to toe and are all decked out in detailed clothing styles. Domokun, the brown beast, appears in two renditions - one in samurai armor and the other in a guard uniform. Usaji opens his arms... for no reason and Ta-chan, the girl weasel who aspires to become a model stands in tempered repose. Ta-chan doesn't have the body for modeling but her boyish figure may endear her to farm equipment photographers.
Manufacturer Eikoh will ship the plushes in July 2005 and pricing per set of 4 figures is set at US$49.

TOY Nintendogs Keychain JPN

TOYS Nintendogs Keychain + Cleaner - Shipping in late April
Japanese manufacturer Sanei has started preorders for a number of products based on the Nintendogs brand. There's two Nintendo DS carrying pouches, six sheets of stickers, and an ink stamp. We won't be carrying any of those since they won't sell the numbers to justify importing the minimum order quantity. However, we will stock Sanei's oddly costly Nintendogs keychains which include a little brush. When the silky smooth fur of your keychain pet should get dusty or matted, brush the fur with the color-coordinated brush and it's furry hide will be all nice and shiny again.
Pricing is set at Y980 in Japan or US$12 from NCS per keychain and preorders are expected to ship on or about April 28, 2005.

UMD Biohazard II JPN

NEWS Preorders for PS2 and PSP UMDs
Heeding a call for help, Jill Valentine struts into the Raccoon City police department in micro-skirt + tube top and immediately blasts a few slavering zombies away. Actress Sienna Guillory, dead ringer for the virtual Jill, later deadpans to the police chief, "I told you... shoot for the head."

This and other precious cinematic moments will soon be officially viewable on the crisp screen of the PSP at Y3800/pop. Why are Japanese UMD-Videos triple the cost of American movies, you mutter? In a country where new music CDs are still regularly Y2500-Y3000 and DVDs rarely drift below Y3100, it's all about a pricing structure which is designed to support two tiers of middlemen. The first tier consists of wholesalers who buy from manufacturers at ~40% off retail price. The wholesalers then sell to retailers at ~70% of the retail price. This pricing structure isn't radically different from how the American distribution system works but the Japanese pricing structure kicks off at a higher retail price level.
