   Looking more like a massive cheesecake than Namco's legendary eater, the Pac-Man cushion serves as a resilient pillow/futon/seat to lounge upon. Stack five on top of each other to create a Pac-Man tower which may be useful as a stool or lay them side by side to create a makeshift mattress for munchkins and other little beings. Sadly, Namco refuses to include any dot plushes for those who would recreate Pac-Man in their living rooms.
   Two sizes are available for preorder: A 25cm cushion which clocks in at 9.84" and a 35cm big'un which converts to 13.77" diameter. Preorders are welcome starting today for delivery in August 2005. Due to the large size of these cushions, we recommend only shipping with UPS Ground in order to avoid exorbitant dimensional weight shipping charges.

 TOYS Pac-Man Plushes - Ships in September 2005
   Since the Pac-Man hats announced last week have been pre-selling briskly, it's only natural that Namco push their luck a little more with a set of Pac-Man plushes which feature the recognizable yellow rounder and Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (aqua), and Sue (orange). A ghost in vulnerable "after-power-pellet" mode is also included. The ghosts and Pac-Man all measure 9cm or 3.54" tall. For added buying incentive, all of the ghosts have stable "feet" so that they may be arranged upright on a table or floor.
   Each factory container of the Pac-Man plushes includes 14 pieces of each ghost and 30 pieces of Pac. If you wish to order a complete set of plushes, please enter a quantity of 6 in your shopping cart. Otherwise, feel free to order whichever ghost and/or Pac-Man combination that suits your fancy. Preorders will ship in September 2005.   
 
 

PSP Dustcap Portable JPN
 PSP/NDS New Hori Accessories - Ships in April/May
   Hori has announced a few new accessories for the PSP and Nintendo DS.  First up, to keep millions of PSPs and NDS ports free of dust, Hori ships the Dust Cap Portable which plug up the exposed ports of the PSP and NDS unit. Couple the dust plugs with an Aero Case and Hori screen filter and your PSP should stay fairly free of dust, pollen spores and other unsightly motes. 

   For the PSP, the plastic plugs go into the DC-in port, the headphone port, and the USB port.
    On the NDS, the plugs stopper up Slot-1, Slot-2, the headphone hole, and the rectangular AC port in back.
   Hori has also announced new PSP Pouches which are available in Ash-Black and Sand-Beige. The main part of the pouch holds the PSP and zips up to keep it tucked. Adjacent to the zippered portion is a second pouch which holds 1-2 memory stick duos, the PSP headphones, and about 4-5 UMDs. In other words, the perfect pouch to store all of your required PSP gaming for a weekend trip or a long car ride to grandma's.  
   A versatile strap allows the pouch to be lugged across the shoulders, around the waist, or wired next to your hips. Pricing is set at Y2480 or US$29 from NCS.
 

 

 

PSP ATV Offroad USA
 NEWS General Updates
   The USA release of PSP ATV Offroad Fury is expected to arrive in a few hours and all export preorders will ship this afternoon. The USA version of PSP Smart Bomb is expected tomorrow. 
   Sega has announced Jissen Pachi-Slot Hisshouhou! Hokuto no Ken for the Nintendo DS which features pachi-slot spinning action with the characters from Fist of the Northstar. The bottom NDS screen shows off the pachi-slot machine with rapidly rolling watermelons, bells, and "7s" to match up with a tap of the stylus while the top NDS screen depicts Ken and friends in animated antics. For example, Ken may be trudging down a desolate street and suddenly encounter a thug. To battle, tap and lock Pachi spinners to knock him out. Preorders ship on May 26, 2005. 
   XRGB-2+ Upscan Converters will be restocked tomorrow and ALL backorders will ship once they arrive. Backorders for the Complete Edition of Beatmania IIDX 9th Style will also ship on Wednesday.
