PS2 Prince of Tennis: Smash Hit! 2 - New Import

Surprisingly slick and comparable to the better tennis games on the market, Prince of Tennis Smash Hit! 2 continues the tradition of excellence found in its predecessor. Backed by an official Tennis no Oji-Sama license, Konami captures the spirit and power moves from the manga/animation and expands the character roster up to 40 tennis players from different schools. The special moves make the game somewhat unfair and completely unrealistic but we're guessing that comes part and parcel with any game based on a fantasy franchise such as Prince of Tennis.

Completely unexpected in this new game is the "Bowling Mode" where players attempt to become the Prince of Bowling in a well-done bowling simulator where players gauge the power level and throw a cannonball at ten pins. The bowling game is selectable right at the main menu and provides a nice diversion for those who need a break from tennis.
