Based loosely on the Kenran Boutousai animated series, players guide a Round Buckler mecha and cohorts in tactical missions on Mars. Underwater. Although Mars was colonized years earlier, mother Earth exerts its control over the red planet and a war of liberation rages across the world. In addition to the strategic battles, interactive scenarios with crew mates lead the story along into various forks depending on the actions taken.    At the outset of the game, players create a character and may choose to be male or female and choose specific strengths such as combat skills, technical ability, and leadership.
