Grab your
PSP with both hands and rotate it 90 degrees
counterclockwise. Next, with your left hand firmly
grasping the PSP, use your right hand to insert the
Star Soldier UMD into the unit. Wait a few seconds
and Hudson's remake of Star Soldier soon glimmers on
the screen in vertical aspect glory.
At home, one might have trouble rotating a 300 lb
WEGA on its side to play a vertical shooter in the
aspect that it was designed for. Failing manual tv
rotation, one would have to be content with a squat
screen bound by black borders on the sides. On the
PSP, there are no such restrictions although the
shots are a bit clumsy to fire off.
Shoot, dodge, bob, and
weave through armies of enemy flyers and their
bullets. Once the minor foes are dispatched, deal
with end level bosses who put up more of a fire
fight. |
