PSP Jitsuwa Kaidan: Shin-Mimi-Bukuro - Ichi no Shou - New

A collection of 50 short ghost stories are spirited onto the PSP under the supervision of writer Hirokatsu Kihara who collaborated with Ichiro Nakayama on the Shin-Mimi-Bukuro books. The duo collected ghost stories from ordinary citizens around Japan and put them to paper. Those stories then inspired television shows, manga, and movies. As Jitsuwa Kaidan reaches the PSP, the digital sound novel is the latest territory conquered.  For the uninitiated, a digital sound novel is a story that is told through bits of images, sound effects, and text which conspire together to lend a somewhat interactive animated experience. The publisher recommends the use of headphones when playing the game to pick up the subtle sounds and eerie effects that may be missed otherwise.
