TOYS Alien Warrior JPN
 NEWS Aliens / Predator Action Figures
   Manufacturer Good Smile Company has announced chubby Alien and Predator soft vinyl figures which are shipping in October 2005. The Alien warrior is less lanky than the typical cinematic rendition of an Alien creature and more stout around the belly area. A stubby tail and squat legs also lend support to our theory that this is the bad DNA, beer slugging, couch potato version of Alien.
   To match the SD design sensibilities of the Alien Warrior, a beer-belly-sporting version of Predator has also been announced by Good Smile. The fishnets which wrap around Predator appear to be holding in wan-colored sausage but we'll reserve final judgment until the figures are in stock. Each figure measures 22cm (8.66") tall and is priced at Y4500 or US$50.

   Hong Kong based manufacturer EMS has announced a new PS2 Memory Expansion Card. Their original and unedited news release follows below:

PS II Expansion Memory Card ( 64M / 128M )  #80511 introduction:
- build-in 64M / 128M saving capacity, user friendly.
- support all PS2™ models (include 7000X)
- use original PS2™ memory card as a boot up key.
- once booted up by the original PS2™ memory card, it could work without it.
 
Set up instructions:
1. Insert the original PS2™ Memory Card into the slot of PSII Expansion Memory Card.
2. Plug the PSII Expansion Memory card into PS2™ console.
3. PS2™ console would recognize the PS2II Expansion Memory Card.
 
Note: Once the PS2™ console has recognized the PSII Expansion Memory Card, the original PS2™ memory card (which act as a boot up key only) has finished it's job. Now, you may feel free to un-plug the original memory PS2 card.
 
Our PSII Expansion Memory card (64M / 128M) would be available at the end of July.
