NDS Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan - New Import

Tsuyoshi Hanada is a student plagued by demons. The college entrance exams which will decide his position in life are rushing up fast and he is woefully unprepared. Whether he will wash dishes at the local Yoshinoya or manage a team of salarymen hinge on his acceptance to a well regarded university. With the pressure mounting, a team of helpers is required to guide him through the trials that will decide his destiny.

Join a squad of male cheerleaders who are dressed like Neo from the Matrix or the gangsters from Kenka Bancho. In other words, the yankii revival continues in Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan. Rigid, stern, and uncannily stoic, the stone-faced cheerleaders give little hope for hilarity, fun, or laughs.

The game is played by tapping numbered targets that are lined up horizontally or vertically in the proper numerical sequence. Some targets will pop up on the fly and they must be tapped quickly to maintain the flow of the cheering action. During the course of play, the stylus will also be used to follow the curve of meters and other cycles that guide the movement of the cheerleaders.

As a numbered target is tapped, the Ouendan gang will animate quickly to the direction of the target by posing like tai-chi artists and move in quick succession to the next targets. When the wrong sequence is tapped, the boys are knocked back for a loop and Tsuyoshi is that much closer to a life of menial labor.

Once the Ouendan help Tsuyoshi through his exams, new challenges await such as helping him gain respect from his dismissive family and other events that matter in the world. Up to four players may link up for cooperative play and 14 jingles give the game a sprightly beat.
